Ankur Agrawal received his PhD in Computer Engineering from Harvard University focusing on the design of microprocessors. Since 2010, he’s been at IBM TJ Watson Research Center. In 2014, he started working on the design of hardware accelerators for AI workloads, his AI computation circuits have been incorporated in IBM mainframe computers. He holds more than a dozen US patents and serves on the program committee of International Solid States Circuit Conference (ISSCC), which has been the world’s foremost forum for the presentation of advances in the field of semiconductor chips.
Lingfei (Teddy) Wu
Engineering Leadership in Content Understanding
​Lingfei Wu is a distinguished engineering leader and scientist known for his contributions in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing. Dr. Wu earned a doctorate in computer science from the College of William and Mary and has previously led several groups using large language models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies for empowering search/recommendation/E-commerce systems. His work led to multiple AI and outstanding technical achievement awards and over 40 patents, earning him appointments as an IBM Master Inventor. He has also published one book in Graph Neural Networks and over 100 top-ranked AI conference and journal papers.

​Steve Shwartz began his AI career in 1979 as postdoc at Yale and has written extensively about AI including award winning “Evil Robots, Killer Computers, and Other Myths” as well as “Applied Natural Language Processing” and a free AI 101 book available on AIperspectives.com. He has had two IPOs and multiple exits as a co-founder of companies such as Esperant where his NLP product was named product of the year and Device42 which has won many awards as a fast growing tech company. He has also helped fund many startups as an angel investor.
