SPRING FAMILY PICNIC

Spring is here and cherry blossoms are starting to bloom in Connecticut. Time to celebrate nature and life!
Ascend CT & Westchester and the Japan Society of Fairfield County are hosting a Spring family picnic at Mill River Park in Stamford, CT to enjoy the blooming cherry blossoms. We will be in the park area by the beautiful cherry trees off Washington Blvd (see the red circle in the picture below). The nearby Whittingham Discovery Center and Pavilion can serve as shelter in the event that it rains. For families with kids, you are welcome to check out the Carrousel Pavilion across the street (also in the same park) after our picnic gathering.
Please bring your family and invite your friends to join us and enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms. Bring your own lunch and a blanket to sit on the ground if you wish. Ascend will provide some light sushi bites and soft drinks. Registration is required for this complimentary event for the community. Please RSVP by April 20th via bit.ly/CTW2023APR.
Note that street parking and most garages are free on Sundays in Stamford.
